My name is Gerard O’Connor, resident personal trainer based in Well Fit, Skerries, Co. Dublin.
I’ve always had a passion for fitness, whether it be weight lifting , running or playing football and I’ve been training in the gym for almost a decade.
Over the last year I decided to chase my passion and pursue a career in the fitness industry.
In September of 2022, I graduated from Image Fitness Training, qualifying with Fitness Instruction EQF L3, Group Instruction EQF L3 and Personal Training EQF L4. I am also a proud member of REPs Ireland.
My training style is friendly, making sure each of our sessions together are challenging but fun. I will guide you through different movements and routines and give you the knowledge and confidence to be able to train in a gym environment.
In 2023 I completed two marathons.
Manchester in 03:41:39 and Dublin City marathon in 03.43.29
I also competed in Athx Games midlands, a CrossFit competition in Birmingham in 2023.
My personal training goals for 2024 is to compete in HYROX Madrid in March and to have a successful end to the football season with Mourne Celtic FC.
